Links to Organizations
Here are a few organizations in Kate's community that are primarily volunteer run. Check them out; You may want to support them too. There are similar organizations in your own community. Please seek them out and become an active contributor.
- Heart & Soul is a Salt Lake
City organization founded in 1994 that works to provide cultural opportunities
for individuals who otherwise have no access to live performing artists.
Through Heart & Soul, performing artists bring their craft to convalescent
homes, hospitals, rehabilitation centers, psychiatric facilities, homeless
shelters, and the developmentally disabled.
Performing artists from the Intermountain area are carefully selected by the organization and donate their time and effort in service to the Heart & Soul cause. Heart & Soul is a non-profit relying solely on donations, grants, and fundraising events to cover their operating expenses.
